I work from home on Fridays now! So that means I can ostensibly sneak in some Oppo time on breaks. Who’s going to Cars and Coffee this fine weekend?

by ‘sneak in oppo on breaks’ you mean constantly hitting F5 right?

Apparently F5 gifs are a thing.

Working from home, FTW! I usually work from home on Wednesday (it’s a great way to break up the week), but I switched things around this week.
Not me:

I was WFH last Friday when I got a call through my laptop headset. I thought I had video conferencing turned off...nope. Thankfully, the screen was tilted so it only caught me from the neck up.

Uhh, am I wrong for keeping Oppo up all day every day at work?

Lucky lucky. I usually work from home on Fridays but have meetings all day today so I’m in the office today.
I will be going to Cars and Coffee this weekend though so many pics will be taken.

I’m thinking about going tomorrow morning.
My in-laws are here this weekend to drive Mrs McMike’s old ‘03 Civic to Houston where it will become our nephew’s car.
It’s really clean, completely stock, and I found the dealer window stickers for it last night.

Looks like it just left the showroom — see you tomorrow, hopefully!

Was it you that made the Barrett Jackson comment about the Godfather Roadster?
You’re a year late - to the day. :)
http://www.barrett-jackson.com/Archive/Event/…
For sale at auction: Lot #662 - This car was purchased new and sent to Palazzi Motorcars who spent 4,000 hours to give it this amazing look. A new Cadillac XLR costs approximately $85,000, the Palazzi package costs $79,000 totaling approximately $164,000 to build. Build receipt included.
This was the first and only XLR Godfather built.
The car has all the technology of a new car with the retro look. Touch screen navigation, heads-up display and a very powerful Northstar V8.
It was on eBay for months, many different listings. This is the most current one.

Jalopnik did a story on this car five years ago. If you search for “godfather roadster XLR” you will find nothing but sites like TTAC, Hooniverse, etc featuring it in a “WTF is this?” story.
